my approach / about me:

Life can be challenging to navigate without the right support, guidance, or resources. Expanding knowledge, awareness, and understanding while developing skills can help ease pain and transform suffering and trauma. My guiding values as a human being and a therapist include presence, compassion, integrity, respect, and balance. I believe that we all have the capacity to change and improve the quality of our lives.

For me, therapy is a collaborative relationship creating a sacred space for a deeper understanding of your lived experiences and inner landscape for growth to occur.  As an intuitive therapist, I utilize an integrative and holistic approach. With my training in the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), together we focus on a future of hope and joy, learning wellness skills and building resilience to bring the body-mind-spirit back into balance. As a Certified Safe Conversations Workshop Leader, which is based on Imago Relationship Therapy, I guide you in learning the right communication tools that will transform your relationship with yourself and others.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles and recently relocated to North County San Diego. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UCLA. I began my clinical training at Antioch Community Therapy Services (ACTS), a pioneer in teletherapy and a successful community program that offers no-cost counseling services to anyone residing in California. In addition to my private practice, I work as a therapist in elementary and middle schools, providing individual and group counseling for students. I am wholeheartedly grateful for my calling as a therapist and for my education, training, and lived experiences, which have aided in my growth and development professionally and personally.
